Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it being considered for publication by another journal.
• The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF or similar file format.
• Where available, DOIs/URLs for the references have been provided.
• All figures, tables and appendices are submitted as indvidual files. Their ideal placement is indicated within the manuscript.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
• All co-authors involved in the work implicitly or explicitly agree to the publication of the work under these conditions.
• The corresponding author is in possession of all permissions and authorisations when using parts of the text, figures and/or tables from other publications. Obtaining these rights from the copyright holders (usually the
  originating author and the original publisher) is the responsibility of the corresponding author.
