[Call for Papers] JEACS issue 6.2 (unthemed)

Call for contributions

The editors of JEACS are pleased to announce that starting this year, the output of the journal will be increased to two issues annually. We therefore invite submissions for the second issue of 2025.

Deadline (for issue 6.2): July 15, 2025. Later submissions will be considered for a subsequent issue.

Research papers

• Suitable articles will be sent for peer review upon receipt, with formal acceptances issued on a rolling basis.
• Issue 6.2 will be unthemed; research papers are welcome from any field in the Humanities and Social Sciences on any topic that falls within the general scope of the journal.
• Length: approx. 10,000 words.
• Complete articles should be submitted directly to JEACS, following the instructions here.

Book reviews

• Book reviews are to be submitted on a solicited basis only. To propose a book review, please contact: jeacsbookreviews@chinesestudies.eu.
• Reviews of books published in European languages other than English are especially welcome.
• JEACS book reviews undergo an open peer-review by members of the editorial team.
• Length: max. 3,000 words.

Translation reviews

• Preference will be given to reviews of translations from Chinese into a European language other than English.
• JEACS translation review articles undergo an open peer-review by members of the editorial team.
• Length: max. 6,000 words. A sample may be found here.
