Abstract

An exemplary analysis of three books written for young readers shall show the validity of Aristotle’s poetical theory of beginning, middle and end as constituent parts of a perfectly told story across the genres and prove its practical benefit. The telling examples will be two novels (one by Henning Mankell and another one by Mira Lobe) and a picture book by Siegfried Lenz.
