Abstract

WRITING FASHION: Die 6. Ausgabe der Wiener Digitalen Revue sieht im Phänomen Mode eine wesentliche Figuration der Moderne. Sie spannt den Bogen von Maria Theresia bis in die Gegenwart, von Jane Austen bis Teresa Präauer, von Jugendliteratur bis zum Feuilleton – und ergründet die Erzählungen von der ,Wiener Mode‘. Mit dieser Nummer der Wiener Digitalen Revue startet unser Podcast mit dem Kulturwissenschaftler Florian Ronc und der Malerin Raja Schwahn-Reichmann (Host: Stefan Sonntagbauer).

The 6th edition of the Wiener Digitale Revue sees the phenomenon of fashion as an essential figuration of modernity. It spans the arc from Maria Theresa to the present day, from Jane Austen to Teresa Präauer, from youth literature to the feuilleton – and explores the narratives of ‘Viennese fashion’. This issue of the Wiener Digitale Revue marks the launch of our podcast with cultural studies scholar Florian Ronc and painter Raja Schwahn-Reichmann (host: Stefan Sonntagbauer).
