Urlaublieder, early modern age, sinners' leaflets, multi-dimensional annotationAbstract
Claudia Resch’s contribution focuses on Viennese Urlaublieder of the 18th century. These texts have no reference to the current meaning of ‘Urlaub’ – holiday – but were ascribed to ‘malfeasants’ condemned to death. These texts and songs of parting were distributed en masse as handbills. – A report on the digital transformation and multi-dimensional annotation of a little-known historical text type.
