Abstract

Immediately following the focus contribution on Karl Kraus' legal battle regarding the use of image copyrights, the contribution of Johannes Knüchel, Isabel Langkabel, Andrea Ortner, and Laura Untner presents a workshop report on the scientific digital edition on intertextuality in Kraus' legal files. The records of the office of Oskar Samek were created between 1922 and 1938, and therefore offer a culturally relevant source on the 1920s and 1930s when Kraus and his lawyer Samek were involved in legal cases. The rare circumstance that the records of a lawyer were preserved makes the digital edition a relevant research platform not only for literary and cultural researchers, but also for historians of law.
