Abstract

The pandemic-related restrictions in higher education have highlighted the urgent need for viable alternatives to classroom training, even in the context of library introductions. Online tutorials or interactive Moodle courses should therefore supplement the training offered and alleviate staff resources. Key criteria include an integrated knowledge check and the establishment of a consistent level of information. Both students and library staff benefit from the flexibility of online tutorials in terms of time and place.
