Fortbildung und Kompetenzförderung zum Umgang mit Fake News bei Lehrkräften

Eine Latent-Class-Analyse auf Basis von ICILS 2023

Abstract

Die Verbreitung von Fake News stellt hohe Anforderungen an die Informationsbewertung und erfordert schulische Kompetenzförderung. Lehrkräfte spielen dabei eine zentrale Rolle, jedoch ist wenig über Unterschiede in ihrer Förderung von Kompetenzen im Umgang mit Fake News bekannt. Auf Basis der Daten der International Computer and Information Literacy Study 2023 (ICILS 2023) werden mittels einer Latent Class Analysis (LCA) Lehrkräftetypen zur Förderung von Kompetenzen im Umgang mit Fake News identifiziert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen drei Lehrkräftetypen: engagierte, reflexive und zurückhaltende Lehrkräfte. Insbesondere zeigt sich, dass ein großer Anteil der Lehrkräfte entsprechende Kompetenzen kaum fördert. Unterschiede bestehen vor allem hinsichtlich des Alters und der positiven Einstellungen gegenüber digitalen Medien. Die Ergebnisse unterstreichen die Notwendigkeit gezielter Fortbildungen.
