Abstract

The ORCID Austria Workshop, organized by the „e-infrastrucures Austria PLUS“ project, took place on May 24, 2018 at the University of Natural Resour-ces and Applied Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU). Representatives of Austrian institutions had the opportunity to collect information about ORCID IDs, international best practice examples and the advantages of an institutional ORCID membership. The article offers a summary of the presentations and describes first steps towards establishing an Austrian ORCID consortium.
