The library – a lively place where exciting things happen: a report of the conference Internet Librarian (London, October 16–17, 2018)

Abstract

More than 300 participants from 28 countries, some 60 lectures and case studies on current developments and visions, interactive sessions and social events – this was the conference Internet Librarian International 2018, October 16–17, Olympia Center, London. The main topics of the event for librarians and information professionals were the library as a place for encounters and learning, future technologies, how they will influence the everyday life of information experts as well as active advertising. Many interesting lectures in six tracks, three of them in parallel.
