Abstract

The elementary school teacher Eva Neureiter summarizes with her contribution very concrete and practical her years of experience in radio teaching in school classes. In doing so, their contribution consistently sees itself as a plea for media education, because media work must be an important part of teaching in times of digital education. The work in free media and the concrete action in the radio studio also offer, according to the author, an opportunity for the initiation of democracy-political processes, which can promote even with children for participation and participation. Neureiter sees the meaning of the work of educators by no means to adapt the children to prescribed tests, but to bring the media education to our children.
