Rarely has one been able to study the posing of a politician from populist to leader idol uncritically worshipped by the masses as vividly as in the countless photographs Heinrich Hoffmann took of dictator Adolf Hitler. But who was the man who achieved this, and what were his motives? For the first time, a biography of Hitler’s photographer has now been published that addresses these questions.
