Abstract

How can practitioners improve the current teaching environments with a special focus on the problem solving approach computational thinking to lead to sustainable improvements in our schools? This German article is based on our publications you can find at the end of this article. Our story, based in a secondary school with an economic focus, takes the reader on a journey, in the school of the future, tells tales of brave teachers, curious experts and excited students. We will probably never have all the answers, but our action research approach generates ever better questions, we can reflect upon with all involved stakeholders and base our future optimization attempts on.

Spoiler: Yes, integrating experts in the classroom is great, we show you how.
