Abstract

The monograph Digital lesen (Reading Digitally) by Franziska Wilke examines the changes and continuities of the cultural technique of reading against the background of digitalisation. By means of a reading praxeology informed by literary and media theory, digital reading is analysed through selected case studies. The core point is the interplay of text structure, materiality, mediality, and corporality, which is reflected in reading practices.
