Rezension: "Ökologien des Lesens. Für eine erweiterte Philologie" von Hanjo Berressem

Abstract

In his short essay, Hanjo Berressem focuses on the question of what a present or future ecology of reading looks like or could look like. In developing his thoroughly complex reflections, the literature specialist draws on a variety of theoretical positions from philosophy, the humanities, and also the natural sciences. The majority of the questions raised and addressed by Berressem unfortunately remain unanswered, despite the formulation of theses. For future relevant research, however, this publication may prove to be a book full of food for thought.
